Stephen is a directer, writer and founder of the film production company G22 Studios.

Having studied Film at the Queen Mary University of London, Stephen pursued his passion for filmmaking throughout his undergraduate - creating a variety of films with political/social subtext that focused on subjects such as gentrification, the Grenfell Tower tragedy and the experiences of post-colonial theorist Frantz Fanon. Working with fellow filmmakers from University, Stephen co-founded the production company G22 Studios in order to continue and mature his filmmaking after graduation.

Like countless in Britain, Stephen was raised as the child of two immigrant parents - European & Middle Eastern respectively. This diverse and, at times, tumultuous multicultural upbringing would go on to inform Stephen's fascination in life with questions of identity, history and belonging - all of which he would come to explore, as well as interrogate, in his documentary & fiction films.
